Nikon-Nikkor 300mm f/4.5 AI Review

Nowadays you can get for bargain on Ebay or local camera shops. This lens was quite popular from middle of '60. It was targeted for every day usage for advanced photographers, I guess used by many professionals too because much easier to handle than faster lenses.

I really like the focusing, build quality of this lens. One f/ stop down , sharp enough to capture excellent images, color rendering quite good , but much less quality than my favorite Tamron SP 300 mm f/5.6. At the first look I guess this lens equal quality than Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar 300mm f/4. What can I say more this is a good lens, recommend to buy.
